A. Scope
This document can be applied on Befact PoE / PoE⁺ PD modules. Current models of Befact PoE/PoE⁺ PD modules are TPD modules (TPD-12, TPD-50, TPD-33), SPD modules (SPD-12, SPD-50), THPD modules (THPD-12, THPD-50, THPD-33), AHPD Module (AHPD-12).

B. IEEE 802.3at Compliant PD Module - AHPD Module
Although, AHPD module is an IEEE802.3at-2009 compliant PD module and backward compatible with IEEE802.3af-2003 operation mode, not same as THPD, TPD and SPD modules are IEEE802.3af-2003 compliant PD module. Basically, AHPD module is performed as like THPD modules, except that AHPD module can perform more efficiency, power than others and support IEEE802.3at-2009 standard.

So, all of application notes for Befact PD modules can be applied on AHPD module with no technical concerns and risk free.
